Con Man Teaches Judge How To Lie

Some people just never know when to shut up. Robert Miller is one of those people.

According to the Washington Post, while awaiting sentencing on his 17th fraud convinction (out of almost 60 arrests), the 54 year-old Miller sent a letter to the judge asking for leniency, which included this treatise on the art of lying.

“Like music, lying requires exquisite timing, a consistent beat and a melodic quality designed to soothe the most cynical beast. Like painting, lying requires varying shades of color, depending on the visual or intellectual effect desired. Like poetry, lying has to be precise, measured, lyrical and appealing.”

Very eloquently stated Robert. Prosecutors are asking for 130 years.
